David, a 1997 graduate of Cranbrook Kingswood, joined the staff as Assistant Coach for the 2010 - 2011 season. Prior to joining the Varsity team this year, David was the Head Coach of the Cranbrook Boys Junior Varsity Hockey team during the previous two seasons. He has been a part of the CK Boys hockey program in one capacity or another since 2002.
David was a four year varsity hockey player from Cranbrook, where his face-off acumen in the 1997 MHSAA state tournament run won rave reviews from Head Coach Andy Weidenbach. He was named to the 1997 Culver Hockey Classic All Tournament Team and was the assistant captain for the 1997 Cranbrook Class B-C-D State Championship team – the first state championship under Coach Weidenbach’s reign. He is a past President of the CK Alumni Association and currently serves on the Cranbrook Schools Board of Governors.
David graduated from Michigan State University and the MBA program at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. David and his wife Elizabeth currently reside in Bloomfield Hills, MI with daughters Jane, Eleanor and Charlotte.
