Andy Weidenbach, Jr., Assistant Coach

Andy, known affectionately as Junior by staff and players, is in his seventh season as an Assistant Coach at Cranbrook. Prior to joining the Varsity staff, Andy coached the Cranbrook JV team with his brother, John Weidenbach.

According to his dad, Head Coach Andy Weidenbach, Junior is a welcome addition to the staff, "Junior brings a lot of hockey knowledge to our staff, he played at all levels and was a fierce competitor. He relates well to the players and never hesitates to add something new to the drills or the offense."

Junior lives in Royal Oak, MI with his wife Lisa and their newborn son, Andrew Robert Weidenbach - nickname Peno.

Andy attended St. Paul's School in Concord, NH where he was an All League Selection in hockey. Andy is a graduate of Yale University in New Haven, CT.
